Nestled in the heart of Leigh, our Cosy Cottage blends classic Kiwi charm with modern comfort. 12 mins drive from Matakana and 15 mins from Omaha, it features 2 bedrooms, a sunroom, a modern kitchen, laundry and open-plan living that flows to the generous outdoor spaces and BBQ area. Steps from Leigh Eats for their famous fish'n'chips, Matheson Bay & Leigh Wharf for a refreshing swim, it's perfect for exploring Matakana market, wineries, scenic coastal trails, and Goat Island's marine reserve.

The space:
Cosy Cottage presents a perfect retreat for couples and families alike. With its thoughtfully designed spaces, the cottage comfortably accommodates five guests across two bedrooms and a sunroom, with the flexibility of an additional fold-out single bed in the living area for a sixth guest, if needed.

While the property is fully fenced, we note the absence of a driveway gate and advise families with little ones under six to consider this in their plans.

Cosy Cottage is a recently renovated bungalow from the 1910s. The heart of the home is its modern fully equipped kitchen, boasting a generous stone island that flows into the living and dining areas, making it an ideal space for gathering as a family and making memories. There is a sliding door leading to the large front deck and French doors opening to the partially covered back patio and BBQ area, promising alfresco dining and leisure.

Accommodation includes two bedrooms and a sunroom, branching off from the living space. The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a double bed. The sunroom, fitted with a child's single sofa bed, provides versatile access from both the living room and the second bedroom, offering peace of mind for parents seeking proximity to their child with the added benefit of privacy.

Please note that we have a fold-out single bed available that can be placed in the sunroom if the child's single bed is too small.

The cottage is complete with a bathroom, a separate toilet for convenience, and a fully equipped laundry room featuring a washing machine, dryer, and clothes rack to cater to all your needs after a day at the beach.

We are dedicated to enhancing the landscape of Cosy Cottage. While our garden is still a work in progress and the trees are yet to mature, we warmly invite our guests to enjoy the greenery and lawn.

We have two security cameras outside the property: one pointing at the front driveway and the other at the back door. For your privacy, sound is not enabled, and neither camera covers areas where people socialise or congregate.
